The French Pick An Alliance

This week, we focus on the Commander of the Ranger, John Paul Jones. He is experiencing push back for his decisions and some of his Marines are feeling the brunt of it. We also learn about a raid conducted by Marines and Sailors on the Duke of Selkirk’s residence. Apparently, Marine Lieutenant Wallingford left such a great impression that Lady Selkirk wrote a letter to John Paul Jones when she heard of Wallingford’s death.
